What the Media Won't Admit 2

Several articles out today, all pointing out the obvious that you won't hear on CBS, NBC, ABC, NPR or MSNBC.

Valerie Plame lied. She has a personal political agenda to destroy the Bush Adminstration.

Juan Williams (NPR) won't address the fact things are improving politically and strategically in Iraq. His only comment is most Americans want the troops pulled out. Funny, the poll I read said most Americans want to win, Juan.

New York Times says there was no official count on the demonstrations in Washington. Funny, I heard the Park Service estimate upwards 30,000 counter protesters, as many as the protesters. Article buried on page 12 of Cincinnati Enquirer.

This is the counterattack against our successes lately. They won't give up easily.

Yet More Good News About Iraq

Excerpt from The Sunday Times in the UK about a poll conducted in Iraq.

Only 27% think there is a civil war in Iraq, compared with 61% who do not, according to the survey carried out last month.

The survey of more than 5,000 Iraqis found the majority optimistic despite their suffering in sectarian violence since the American-led invasion four years ago this week.

when asked whether they preferred life under Saddam, the dictator who was executed last
December, or under Nouri al-Maliki, the prime minister, most replied that things were better for them today.

By a majority of two to one, Iraqis believe military operations now under way will disarm all militias.
Margaret Beckett, the UK foreign secretary, said the findings pointed to progress. “There is no widespread violence in the four southern provinces and the fact that the picture is more complex than the stereotype usually portrayed is reflected in today’s poll,”

The news improves daily from Iraq as Americans rise up to protest the anti-America crowd in Washington.

Momentum?

What the Media Won't Admit

For months now, we've been hearing the Mainstream Media trumpet the election of 2006 as a referendum on the war against Islamic Fascists in Iraq. They repeat, over and over that the people have turned against the war. They focus on stories like group of disgruntled soldiers comprising less than 1 % of the troops who are against war. Yesterday they showed stories about the thousands of people protesting the war in the nation's capital.

Of course, this is deception.

The election of 2006 was about the GOP's failure to address the will of the people and the rule of law about ILLEGAL immigration.

The election of 2006 was about Conservative outrage about Republicans in Name Only voting time after time with the Liberal Democrats

The election of 2006 was about Social Conservatives turning their backs on the GOP for the abandonment of moral principles with regards to the abortion and homosexual marriage.

The majority of Americans don't like the way President Bush has conducted the war, but we want to win. Many Conservative bloggers echo this over and over, falling on seemingly deaf ears, but it is, nonetheless, true.

And this is also the manifestation of the true American character that has been attacked for the last decade. That most of us realize the fragility of our liberty. Most of us know it's paid for in blood. Most of us know you've got to be willing to fight to win. MOST OF US WANT TO WIN. That's why there was the large assemblage of patriots counter protesting the anti war crowd yesterday.

The Mainstream Media and it's parents, Academia and the Democratic Party, want to lose. They hate America, and believe in Socialism. But the young members of the Progressive Secularists lack the intellectual equivalence of the Vietnam era protesters. The Nam protesters were equally as wrong, but their generation was being drafted into combat. This generation has absolutely no clue.

This generation is the MTV/video game/Che Guevara t-shirt/wasn't the 60's cool/pseudo revolutionary/I don't understand socialism but I'll protest with you/wealth is bad if someone else has it/the government owes me a living/good and bad is gray crowd.

Beware the backlash of 2008. The Enemedia may just end up wondering, "what happened?" when all the Conservatives who stayed home in 2006, and the Moderate Middle actually see we can -  and will win  in Iraq if we're willing to fight.

And if we win, there may be a reckoning here in America.

We're Winning in Iraq

In the Weekly Standard, Bill Kristol reports the news from Kimberly Kagen about Baghdad:

This "rolling surge" focuses forces on a handful of neighborhoods in Baghdad, and attempts to expand security out from those neighborhoods. . . . A big advantage of a "rolling surge" is that the population and the enemy sense the continuous pressure of ever-increasing forces. Iraqis have not seen such

a prolonged and continuous planned increase of U.S. forces before. . . . The continued, increasing presence of U.S. forces appears to be having an important psychological, as well as practical, effect on the enemy and the people of Iraq. . . . [Meanwhile] in Ramadi, in the belt south of Baghdad stretching from Yusifiyah to Salman Pak, and northeast in Diyala Province, . . . U.S. and Iraqi forces have deprived al Qaeda of the initiative.

It seems that the Greatest Military in the World has found a general worthy of it. Petaeus' plan is working. And if the enemies in Washington DC in the Democratic Party don't defeat us, this plan will succeed in defeating the insurgents, the American Media, and the Democratic Defeat, Cut & Run party. Christmas in July.

The defeat of our domestic enemies in the Senate last week signals the Democrats may be firmly in grasp of their own defeat. For certain, they and their friends the Enemedia will fight to the last, but this may be a tipping point.

Now if the Republicans would just grow some balls and fight back. I'm sick of President Bush just taking it.

Where Was McCain?

The Senate turned back the attempt to end the support for our troops at war in Iraq yesterday. The GOP Senators voted, along with a couple Democrats (God bless Joe Lieberman), to block the attempt by the Democratic Party to stab our military in the back, and put our nation in greater peril.

John McCain did not vote. He was campaigning.

I will never, ever vote for John McCain.

GOP To Become Moderate Middle Party

California GOP is deciding whether or not to open it's primaries to independent voters. This move would achieve several things. It would give the Dumbed Down Moderate Middle the power over you and I to decide who runs on the GOP ticket. RINOs would rule. I'm sure John McCain is delighted to here this. But the GOP would be scrubbed clean of any pretense of being guided by Conservative principles. Mobs of people who don't have any clue about what exactly they believe in would rule. The Social Conservatives would continue to be marginalized, more and more. The Giuliani criticism has started this slide, and the bigwigs in the party are not about to let people who live by ideals tell them who is fit for office. This echoes the seemingly vacant reference to Reagan by Fred Thompson the other day, who seems either clueless about what Reagan believed, or who couldn't really care less. If there's one thing this country needs more than ever before, it's the principles of Ronald Reagan, not his personality as Thompson implied. I hope the Conservatives in California speak up to the party elites.

Does Fred Thompson Get It?

Yesterday on the Sean Hannity show, Fred Thompson was given the opportunity to address the concerns of Conservatives over the lack of Reagan Conservatives in the GOP today. Instead of addressing the core of what Reagan was about, low taxes, strong defense, small government (simple ideas), Fred went on a tangent saying he thought Reaganism was about doing what you believe is right. And.... we ought to give the current GOP people some slack, because that's what they were doing. In polite terms, baloney. This cements my view that Fred Thompson is all IMAGE and no substance. The GOP's Obama. Fred Thompson voted against the conviction of Bill Clinton.

The GOP needs Reagan Conservatism, and if you look past the propaganda, Rudy would fit the bill, as well as Newt. Fred Thompson should stay out of the race.

The Counterattack Is Coming

The Democrats and their willing partners, the Enemedia will not stand by idly and watch the United States win in Iraq. With nothing but success so far with the recent surge, the Dems will be releasing a flurry of attempts to end the war without voting to cut off the funds, and the Enemedia will be spewing out anti Iraq and anti military pieces non stop.

So far, we see Reuters highlighting a small grass roots efforts by wounded soldiers to convince citizens not to enlist. Patriotic?

UK newspapers have their underpants in a wad over the supposed plan to attack Iran as being imminent. Bush is a threat to the world.

Hans Blix, that genius of WMD hunters, has been chosen for quotation to say, the invasion of Iraq was illegal. Yeah, and Al Gore lost in 2000.

The New York Times is seething that President Bush has the audacity to ask for war funding without strings. Imagine, a military commander being given the freedom to win.

Strap yourselves in, the MSM will not let the United States win easily. The Democrat's chance to govern is here, and they won't give up without a fight. Every conceivable method will be used to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Hillary Thinks She's JFK

Hillary's speech included her comparison to JFK and HERSELF. "He was smart, he was dynamic, he was inspiring and he was Catholic."

Smart: She married Bill Clinton

Dynamic: Can whip up a southern drawl at the drop of a hushpuppy.

Inspiring: Hundreds of thousands of Conservatives will go to the polls to defeat her.

Catholic: Can you be Catholic and Jewish and a Humanistic Socialist? Just image her confessions.

This woman is a ruthless power hungry socialist who'll drop any name, drudge up any dirt, stab any back to get the power to run your life with your money the way she thinks is correct. Socialism is doomed to failure.

It takes more than a village to get elected.

Independent Moderates: A Danger to our Political Process?

Hi! This is my initial post here at Townhall. As I've been particularly opinionated with my deluge of letters to the editors around the world, I've been encouraged to post a blog. My first statement here is about those who don't get into the "game" until election day. And the Democrats want to enable the destruction of the Electoral College to bring about the tyranny of the Dumb.

Our Republic is sustained by the will of the people. But a large percentage of current voters belong to the Great Dumbed Down Moderate Middle, incapable of forming a sophisticated opinion on politics or even world events, beyond repeating a one or two sentence sound bite they've heard drilled into their brain  by the Mainsteam Media. Worse, many voters can't even tell you the name of the current Secretary of State, or even the Vice President. The privilege to vote is being taken too lightly by a too large number of us, and this is in danger of being even further amplified by a move to abolish the Electoral College. When it comes to the matters that affect our livelihoods, or even the future existence of our country, I believe it to be the duty, owed to the millions who have given their lives for us, for each voting citizen to understand exactly what they are voting for.

Put differently, grow a spine, and believe in something. Communists believe in taking from the haves and giving to the have nots, charity at the point of a gun held by the state. Capitalists believe in the market, each deserving what he receives for any goods or services he provides a willing buyer. In the middle are those who don't have any clear idea of what they believe, and who are swayed daily by an onslaught of words and images couched in popular cultural formats, each carrying a subtle ideological message.

To those of you who feel Moderate, wake up. Get a spine, get your information from multiple sources, not just NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX, MSNBC, NPR, and the NYTimes. Think about the sources giving you this info and their agenda. Come to your own conclusions about the facts of daily life, don't let the MSM tell you how to feel. Stand for something, no matter what, for reasons you can intelligently explain, based on facts and reason. You owe a lot of dead patriots this responsibility. If you can't, then shut up and get out of the way. The rest of us intend to move in a positive direction with thoughtfulness, appreciation and a sense of reponsiblity for the gift of liberty we've inherited.
